Recipe of the month December:

Walnut Cookies (published by 'Betty Bossi')

Ingridients : 4 egg whites, 450grs sugar, 350grs grinded walnuts, 250grs grinded hazelnuts

Throw the 4 egg whites in a bowl and beat them. Add all other ingridients and knead it well until hard. Roll dough out to 1cm thick and cut out little figures (i.e. stars, lozenges, rectangulars). Leave it as is over night.
The next day bake at 180 degrees C for 12 minutes.
Mix an icing out of 100-200gr icing sugar and two spoonful of Cherryschnaps (one for the icing and one for the cook;-) and spread it onto the (still warm) cookies.
Cut a walnut in half and decorate it onto the icing.
